Finished up this little painting while oogling Fox Mulder and murdering a chocolate rabbit.
(9x12, oil on canvas panel.)
I’m almost done with the other painting, but I’m going to wait to finish it until tomorrow. The paint is still too wet to finish the highlights and shadows without making it too muddy, but it should be good to go by morning.
I started a few 8x10s today. I already want to paint over them; they look silly. We’ll see how I feel about them in the morning.
In other, unrelated, news, I’ve made it to season 5 of Law and Order: SVU on Netflix.
My camera broke, so I am now saving up for a new, much nicer one to take pictures and (possibly) make videos with. Cell phone pictures will have to do for now, bear with me here. I don’t like it either.

Acrylic and gouache on watercolor board

I finished 2/3 of the things I was planning on finishing for the month of October. This was one of my paintings. I also finished a sketchbook. The oil painting I worked on -that I had previously posted work in progress photos of- is close to being finished.
For November I want to do 2 small paintings, finish an already started sketchbook, and rework some older paintings that I have hidden away. I’m also going to try to update at least once a week, even if it’s just some sketches.
Sidenote: Changed my URL to something I like better.
Getting there, a couple more layers to go.
Oil on hardboard panel.
I think I might actually step away from it for a little bit and work on something else. No more shitty cell phone pictures soon, promise.
I’ve had this floating around in my head for about 3 weeks now. Finally got it on a panel. Pretty stoked to get started painting it tomorrow.
